Remove your pole straps and grasp them in the middle of the shaft--one in each hand.

Hold the poles vertically in front of you--as if you're holding a picture frame, shoulder width apart.

Pick an object far down the hill and center it in your "frame."

Ski medium to short radius turns, while keeping the object centered in your "frame".

  • Everything from your hips up should stay in a neutral, stable and balanced position, facing down the hill.
  • Your upper body should make only minor adjustments to maintain balance.

Print this out for future reference and remember to have fun!
