Understanding our approach and philosophy is important if you'd like to
successfully use the drills in Ski Smarts
In short radius turns, strive to:
- Maintain a relaxed and efficient stance, with
feet slightly apart.
- Keep a substantially countered stance, with your
upper body stable and facing mostly down the hill, as opposed to your legs and
feet that are rapidly changing direction.
- Steer both skis simultaneously and actively in
the same direction.
- Extend down the hill from the uphill ski at the
end of turns (roughly where your skis are across the fall line,) to achieve a
