  • Practice this on groomed terrain too.

Begin by straight running down the flow line on easy terrain in powder.

  • Hold your arms comfortably in front of your body.
  • Keep slight pressure between your shins and your boot tongues--stay in the Sweet spot!

While in the straight run, gently start bouncing up and down-always weighing both skis equally.

Get into a rhythm and, just when your body is fully extended (when the skis become "light") add a slight turn.

Keep doing these "bouncy" little turns until you feel comfortable. Then take them to slightly steeper terrain.

Print this out for future reference and remember to have fun!
