Choose a leader. Switch leaders after a while.

The follower should remain one-and-a-half ski lengths behind the leader.

It's the leader's job to ski short radius turns while changing the rhythm, the turn shape and the line (for example, moving across the flow line.) The follower has to keep up with the leader.

The leader can also change skiing tasks, like: retraction hops, converging steps, turns with high edge angles, or pivots in the flow line.

  • Don't hesitate to hook up with an expert ski instructor to lead you down the bumps.
