Start by making Wedge christies (see previous exercise) or somewhat steeper terrain.

Once you're making rhythmic christie turns, start matching (bringing parallel) your skis earlier in the turn. Do this as you start facing straight down the hill.

• Matching will come easier if ski a bit faster.
• Stay relaxed, especially when you start facing down the flow line.

You should be gliding through the turns in a rhythmic fashion.
